Platform Integration Stand for the Envisat satellite

MGSE

Mechanical Ground Support Equipment for the European earth-resources platform. As the MGSE main contractor OHB-System has the overall responsibility for the design, manufacturing, testing and delivery of the MGSE items.

The different units are raging from the smallest, a set of lifting brackets which are used to support the total weight of the integrated satellite to the largest, the Platform Integration Stand which weighs approximately 30 tons and is used for the satellite integration and testing.

Atelier Guarniero creates high quality space models, many of which are part of the ESA space program and of the International Space Station (ISS). Each scale model is made exactly matching the real spacecraft using information provided by the European space agency. At the moment we are working on a new line of rocket models beginning with the Soyuz launcher. We are planning to create a full line of rockets to complement our collection of satellites.
